360° Green Mountain views, gravity-defying fun, and treetop thrills — just 40 minutes away.

Summer Adventures at Bromley Mountain

Best known for its sunny south-facing ski slopes, Bromley Mountain in Peru, Vermont transforms into a full-scale summer adventure destination once the snow melts. Set within the Green Mountain National Forest with sweeping panoramic views, Bromley's Mountain Adventure Park is one of Southern Vermont's most popular warm-weather days out — and it's well suited to everyone from young families to thrill-seekers. The mountain is approximately 40 minutes from Otherland Hotel.

Mountain Adventure Park

Season: May–Oct

Hours: 10:30am–5pm

Price: From $65

Best For All ages

The heart of the Bromley summer experience, the Mountain Adventure Park bundles an impressive lineup of attractions into a single all-day destination. The classic Alpine Slide — a fan favourite since the resort's early days — sends riders down a winding mountain track on a gravity-powered sled, with panoramic Green Mountain views the whole way down. The Big Splash Waterslide offers a refreshing cool-down on warm days, while the Giant Swing launches riders into the open mountain air. Newer additions include Mountain Towers (a multi-level tower challenge), Bungee Trampolines, a Climbing Wall, Spider Climb, Bumper Boats, Archery, Mini Golf, Shoot n' Shower Basketball, and Kids' Bike Tracks — making it genuinely difficult to run out of things to do. An unlimited day pass covers all attractions except the Treetop Adventure Course, which is ticketed separately. Tickets should be purchased in advance online.

Treetop Adventure Course

Duration: 2.5 hours

Courses: 5 levels

Min. Age / Height: 7 yrs / 48"

For those looking for a more immersive outdoor challenge, the Treetop Adventure Course is a standout experience. Set in the tree canopy of the Green Mountains, the course features over 65 unique natural wooden elements — rope bridges, swinging logs, cargo nets, ziplines, and more — spread across five courses of increasing height and difficulty. Participants are harnessed in throughout and can choose how many courses to tackle within their 2.5-hour window. All participants begin with a mandatory Ground School briefing, a brief safety lesson on gear and course navigation (allow an extra 20 minutes). The best value is the Double Play pass ($99), which combines unlimited Mountain Adventure Park access with the full Treetop Experience.

GOOD TO KNOW

Purchase tickets online in advance — walk-up rates may be higher and popular days can sell out. All attractions close during thunder, lightning, and wet conditions (including the Alpine Slide, which cannot operate in any moisture). Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes; shorts and a t-shirt are fine for the Adventure Park but long sleeves are recommended for the Treetop Course. Non-participants accompanying a group do not need to pay an entrance fee. Groups of 20 or more can access special group rates — check the Bromley website for details.
