Questions About Using Sauna At otherland?

1. what are your saunas like?

Otherland offers two private saunas, each with its own character. The Mirror Sauna, is clad in reflective panels that take on the color of the meadow and sky, so that from a distance it seems to disappear into the landscape. Inside, it's warm, still, and entirely private, with a wide window looking out over the Vermont countryside. The A-Frame Sauna is cedar and warmth, with a peaked roof that comes low to the ground and a window that catches the sky. Both are quiet, private spaces built for exactly one purpose: heat, stillness, and nothing asking for your attention.

2. Is it private, or shared with other guests?

Both saunas are private and reservation-only. Once you book a slot, that sauna belongs to your group alone for the duration of your reservation.

3. Is there a cost to use the saunas?

No. Sauna access is complimentary for all Otherland guests during their stay.

4. How do I reserve a sauna slot?

Please use the Scheduling Tool above to reserve your slot during your stay. Please note that the Sauna Experience is available daily from 6:30am to 11:00am in the morning, as well as 4.00pm to 11.30pm in the evening. Each slot is 35 minutes. It is not available for use outside of these hours.

5. Is there a minimum age to use the sauna?

Kids 10 years of age and older can use the sauna under the full supervision of a parent. Please note that no kids under 18 years of age can use the sauna without adult supervision.

6. What should I wear?

Swimsuits or athletic attire are required. Thank you in advance for respecting this policy. We understand that it is perfectly normal to sauna naked in many cultures. Given the close proximity to other guests and the family-friendly nature of the Otherland Hotel, our sauna guests cannot be nude in the saunas.
